2005 Atayal Tribe Divine Tree Carnival

The 2005 Atayal Tribe Divine Tree Carnival takes place in Jianshih Township in northern Taiwan's Hsinchu County, from November 12 to December 31.

People of Taiwan's Atayal aboriginal tribe worship giant trees, considering them as possessing divine spirits. The carnival features unique traditional culture of the Atayal tribe and the local hot springs.

The 2005 Atayal Tribe Divine Tree Carnival is organized by the Jianshih Township Administration Office under the Hsinchu County Government.
