2005 Taiwan Design Expo

 

The 2005 Taiwan Design Expo is held in the Wei Wu Camp area in southern Taiwan's Kaohsiung County from October 15 to 30.

Organized by the Taiwan Design Center, the Taiwan Design Expo is the biggest annual design event showcasing the splendid and vibrant design culture in Asia.

The theme of this year's Taiwan Design Expo is "Discover the New Home in Asia". The exhibition will bring together contemporary housing design scenes from Taiwan and abroad, and explore the new Asian home style from various perspectives. Highlights of the exhibition include the Creativity Pavilion, the International Pavilion, the Green Pavilion, the Fashion Pavilion, the Futurist Pavilion, and Redesign Your Home.

Meanwhile, a series of design events are held jointly with the exhibition. These include the 2005 Taiwan International Design Forum, the Award Ceremony of 2005 Taiwan International Design Competition, and the National Design Award.

The 2005 Taiwan Design Expo is co-hosted by the Kaohsiung County Government, Kaohsiung City Government, and the Pingtung County Government. Its organizer is the Taiwan Design Center.
