Taipei to host Tayal rite

The Taipei City Government's Aboriginal Affairs Council will kick off its "Polynesian Peoples Across the Strait: Taipei City Aboriginal Cultural Events" on June 28. The event is considered to be the annual worship of the Aboriginal tribes in the area. The tribes wait in great expectation for the event, and this year, with cross-strait and Polynesian themes at its heart, the event will last for five months. Painstaking preparation work has resulted in numerous local and international Aboriginal cultural events.
