English-Chinese Translation and Interpretation

Taiwan.com.au Portal provides English and Chinese (Mandarin) translation and interpretation services for Australian businesses, groups and individuals who would like to conduct business and other community-oriented activities with their counterparts in Taiwan.

We are able to translate business documents; reports, surveys and statistics; books and theses; journal and magazine articles; journalistic and literary writings; and other personal publications and transcripts; that are written in English and Chinese (traditional style) languages. The subjects of these writings may vary, but the quality of our services remains the same. We consult with our clients constantly in order to ensure that all needs are met. We also offer editing, printing and binding services when necessary.

We also provide consecutive interpretation services between English and Chinese (Mandarin) languages, for conferences and seminars, business meetings and negotiations, trade fairs and cultural events, community and social activities, business and cultural tours, and other personal needs. Again, the subjects of these activities may vary, but the quality of our services remains the same. We endeavor to meet the demands of our clients with professionalism and friendliness.

The following is a list of English and Chinese translation and interpretation projects we have conducted so far:

  • July 2008 -- Chinese Simplified to English translation for Australia's Otek Australia Pty Ltd, a company specialized in environmental engineering and remediation, on a series of assesssment results on Beijing Coking Plant's polluted sites.
  • July 2008 -- English to Chinese Traditional translation for Australia's Tara Mathey Editing Services, on an advertisement for professional essay editing.
  • June 2008 -- English to Chinese Traditional and Chinese Traditional to English translations for Australia's Jarvis Estate, on a series of email messages and wine sales documents.
  • March 2008 -- Chinese Simplified to English translation for Australia's Dr Peter Morero, on details of a patient's medical conditions.
  • August 2007 -- Chinese Simplified to English translation for Australia's Nutri-Tech Pty Ltd, on a legal agreement for the promotion and application of phosphorus activation technologies developed by South China Agricultural University.
  • July 2007 -- English to Chinese Traditional translation on a series of publicity materials, as well as modification of Adobe Photoshop images, for Australia's Fresh Mums, a maternity garment producer.
  • May 2007 -- English to Chinese (Mandarin) interpretation for Real Time Australia Pty Ltd, on two reference checks, via three-way conference call between Sydney, Melbourne and Beijing.
  • February-March 2007 -- Chinese Simplified to English translation for Australia's Nutri-Tech Solutions Pty Ltd, on journal article "The Functions of and Chemical Interactions between Humic Acid (HA) and Phosphate (P) in HA-P as a Fertilizer".
  • November 2006 -- Chinese Simplified to English translation for Australia's Nutri-Tech Solutions Pty Ltd, on four journal articles, "An Initial Investigation on the Use of Fulvic Acid as Chicken Feed Additive", "The Application of Sodium Humate to Empirical Veterinary Practice", "New Technological Developments in the Use of Humic Acid as Animal Feed Additive", and "Test Results on the Use of 'Chulining' in the Treatment of Diarrhea among Camels, Chickens and Pigs".
  • November 2006 -- English to Chinese Traditional translation for Australia's Harvey Publicity, on a media release for Piccolo Developments.
  • October 2006 -- English to Chinese (Mandarin) interpretation for Real Time Australia Pty Ltd, on a reference check, via three-way conference call between Sydney, Melbourne and Beijing.
  • July 2006 -- English to Chinese (Mandarin) interpretation for Real Time Australia Pty Ltd, on a reference check, via three-way conference call between Sydney, Melbourne and China's Kunming City.
  • July 2006 -- English to Chinese Traditional translation for Restaurant and Catering Industry Association of Australia, on four official documents that explain the essense of "Work Choices", Australia's latest tax reforms.
