Investment forums to be held in New York, London

The "Taiwan Global Investment Forum" will include a series of seminars. During these seminars, government officials and representatives from 17 Taiwanese companies will highlight Taiwan's financial services, high-tech manufacturing and telecommunications sectors, in order to attract foreign investment.

The forum will focus on the advantages offered by Taiwan's financial and overall business environment. It will introduce various measures the government has already implemented and will implement to liberalize Taiwan's financial sector. The representatives of the 17 Taiwanese companies will be talking about their firsthand experience in doing business in Taiwan, particularly with respect to the financial sector, including both banking and the securities market.
