Business conference expected to lure NT$100 b. investment

The 2003 Taiwan Business Alliance Conference, scheduled to be held in Taipei from October 19 to 22, is expected to lure more than NT$100 billion (US$2.91 billion) worth of foreign investment. According to officials from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, more than 110 multinational enterprises have confirmed that they will send senior officials to attend the government-sponsored international business promotion meeting.
