WHA resolution passed unanimously

The resolution expresses support for Taiwan's bid to win membership in the World Health Assembly and to actively participate in international health and epidemic prevention organizations. Meanwhile, the resolution also urges China to respect the will of the people in Taiwan, and not to prevent Taiwan from becoming a member of the World Health Assembly during the organization's 59th meeting in Geneva in July 2006. |
