APEC delegation returns home

This article was written by Shih Ying-ying and published by the Taiwan Journal on November 25, 2005. It reports that Taiwan's delegation to the recently concluded informal leaders' summit of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum returned to Taipei from Busan, South Korea.

During the summit, the delegation announced that Taiwan would donate a total of US$1 million to the APEC forum for the purpose of avian influenza control and prevention. This makes Taiwan the fourth-largest donor, after the United States, Australia and Japan.
