Germans to help with dual-track training program

With the assistance of the German Trade Office in Taipei, the Council of Labor Affairs (CLA) and the Ministry of Education (MOE) are introducing a German-style, dual-track, job-skills training program to local enterprises. According to officials from the council's Employment and Vocational Training Administration, in the initial stage, the program will coordinate with local enterprises to offer internship opportunities to 500 high school or vocational school graduates, who will serve a three-year paid internship paired with classroom instruction. |
