Taiwan's Institute for Information Technology (III) recently held two forums in Taiwan with the India-Taipei Association and India's National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM). The aim of the forums was to strengthen cooperation between the information technology industries of the two countries.

The first forum was the Taiwan-India System-on-Chip Forum, which focused on opportunities in the development of embedded software. The 2005 Taiwan-India Cooperation Forum, on the other hand, focused on building strategic partnerships for research and developing new markets and on emerging business models.
