Taiwan delegation attends biotech convention in US

A total of 11 Taiwanese companies, institutions and government units are participating in the 2003 Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO 2003) annual meeting and convention, which kicked off in Washington DC on June 23. BIO is the world's largest biotechnology convention. It represents about 1,300 biotechnology companies, academic institutions, state biotechnology centers and related organizations in the United States and about 50 other nations.
