Huisun Forest Station

Huisun Forest Station is located in Ren-ai Township in central Taiwan's Nantou County. It is the largest of the four forest stations owned and operated by the National Chung-Hsing University. The station was named "Huisun" in memory of the late university president Tang Hui-sun, who died of a heart attack while visiting the area.

At 1,000 meters above sea level, Huisun Forest Station offers mild climate and dense pine forests. The area also has canyons and waterfalls, as well as a great variety of unique native plants and birds. There are four hiking tracks in the forest, one of which leads to a river. Local and international visitors can camp nearby the river. There is also a lodge with reasonably priced rooms.
