Dongpu Hot Spring

Dongpu Hot Spring is located in Hsinyi Township in central Taiwan's Nantou County. It is one of the entrances to the Yushan National Park, with plenty of beautiful mountains and rivers in the vicinity. The Batongguan Historic Trail is also accessible from Dongpu.

At 1,120 meters above sea level, the climate here in Dongpu is perfect all year round. The most famous tourist attraction in Dongpu is the hot spring. There are 12 hot spring hotels here and each has its own special characters. Some of them have open-air hot spring polls, spas, sauna, etc. Local and international visitors can enjoy the hot spring and the mountainous scenery at the same time.

Dongpu is also famous for its plums, which are used in food and wine. Other special foods here include persimmon, tea, spring coffee and sweet potato.
