Renyitan Reservoir

Renyitan Reservoir is located in Fanlu Township in west-central Taiwan's Chiayi County. It is a natural lake with beautiful scenery.

In 1987, Renyitan was turned into a reservoir. Today, the reservoir not only supplies drinking water to Chiayi County, but it is also a tourist attraction.

Swimming is prohibited here. However, recreational activities such as hiking, kite-flying, roller-blading are encouraged. The vegetation here includes bamboo, betel nut and bananas.
