Chiayi Botanical Garden
The Chiayi Botanical Garden is located in Chiayi City in west-central Taiwan's Chiayi County. It occupies an area of about 8.6 hectares. The area belongs to the Forestry Experimental Institute under the Council of Agriculture. It is designated as an park for planning and development of tropical trees with economic values. The trees planted here at the Chiayi Botanical Garden have a lot to do with our daily life, such as Mahogany, Chinese firs, blackboard trees and Brazil rubber trees. Together they present a magnificent forest view, with various walking tracks zigzagging among them. It is a good place for local residents to enjoy the beauty of nature. |
