Baotzang Temple

Baotzang Temple is located in Fenyuan Township in central Taiwan's Changhua County. It was built in Qing dynasty, and was rebuilt again in 1971. It is one of the two most famous temples in central Taiwan, the other one being the Longshan Temple in Lugang Township.

Baotzang Temple is now designated as a third-grade historic building. It presents refined sculptures and traditional Chinese architectural style. Nearly 100 statues of deities are preserved in the temple, and the religious paintings on its walls are all very delicate. One of the most important historic objects preserved in Baotzang Temple is the board hanging above the main chamber.
