Beitou Hot Springs Region

Broadly speaking, the Beitou Hot Springs Region refers to an area covering the Hell Valley, Longfong, Fonghuang, Hushan Village and Singyi Road in Taipei City's Beitou District. More specifically, the region mainly refers to an area consisting of Chungshan Road, Guangming Road, Sinmin Road and Cyuanyuan Road surrounding the Beitou Hot Springs Waterside Park.

The hot springs hotels in this area are larger both in scale and number, and the natural and humanities resources are also the most plentiful here. Places to visit include the Beitou Hot Springs Museum, the Stone Arch Bridge, the Hell Valley Hot Springs, the Longfong Hot Springs, the Fonghuang Hot Springs, the Hushan Village Hot Springs, and the Beitou Folk Arts Museum.

To go to the Beitou Hot Springs Region, visitors can take the Danshui Line of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) network and get off at the New Beitou Station, then walk about 15 to 20 minutes along Chungshan Road. The Beitou Hot Springs Museum is open daily from 9am to 5pm, except Mondays and public holidays.
