Shihmen Ancient (Historical) Battlefield

The Shihmen Ancient Battlefield is located in Checheng Township in southern Taiwan's Pingtung County. It is a natural barrier because of its main terrain of rocks. As it is short of trees, the wind is extremely fierce here. Many people fell in this ground as they bravely fought against the Japanese armies during Japan's colonial occupation of Taiwan (1895-1945).
