Bada Forest Theme Park
The Bada Forest Theme Park is located in Chaochou Township in southern Taiwan's Pingtung County. It was originally called the Chiaochow Vacation Park. In 1998, a Japanese financial group invested in this area and successfully turned the park into today's Bada Forest Theme Park. The Bada Forest Theme Park occupies an area of about 17 hectares. It contains more than 2,000 mahogany trees, many of which are more than 80 years old. The entire park is designed in the style of an English chateau. The main theme, "Green Forest Castle", is divided into eight sections that feature different fairy tales, with a wide range of animals and plants as main characters. Two of the prominent sections of the "Green Forest Castle" are the Flora Forest, which has a wide range of flowers; and the Food Forest, which features every style of delicious vegetables and eatable plants. The Bada Forest Theme Park also has plenty of amusement facilities, an insect display and recreational center, and a mini zoo. Local and international visitors can get close and personal with the animals. |
