South Bay (Nanwan)

South Bay, or Nanwan, is located in Hengchun Township in southern Taiwan's Pingtung County, between Hengchun and Eluanbi. The beach here is about one kilometer long. It is also equipped with marked swimming areas, lifeguards, shower/changing room facilities, and ample parking.

The street that runs behind the beach is lined with shops, which have a wide range of equipment for water sports for rent. The most popular activities in this area is swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling and surfing. There are also a number of restaurants, coffee houses and bars in the area.
