Kaohsiung Hakka Culture Museum

The Kaohsiung Hakka Culture Museum is located in Kaohsiung City's Sanmin District. Occupying an area of more than 2,600 square meters, it is Taiwan's biggest museum dedicated to Hakka culture.

The museum is built in the style of traditional Hakka architecture. The structures are designed in red-glass-tiled-roofed and three-sided courtyard compound, divided into exhibition areas, offices and conference rooms. The collection on display features the Hakka culture and artifacts, with Hakka cultural activities held on a random basis. These displays and activities aim at encouraging the research and understanding of Hakka traditions and customs.
