The Shei-Pa National Park Administration Center recently announced that Taiwan's first genomic database of the Formosan landlocked salmon, also called the Taiwan trout, will be completed by the end of this year in cooperation with National Tsinghua University's Life Science College. The database will serve as a useful tool for conservationists seeking to maintain the genetic diversity of this endangered species.
