Located in the Taitung Forest District, the Taitung Hungyeh Village/Cycas Nature Reserve sustains the largest concentration of Taitung cycas in the province. Among the oldest plant species in the world, the cycas cannot tolerate shade, so thrives in the sunny areas around the Lu Yeh stream.
