International Cooperation

As introduced by the Yearbook of the Republic of China:

The ROC has an established record of cooperation with international conservation organizations. In 1997, the ROC donated US$455,000 to support international conservation activities and projects, such as the Bird Life International's project on breeding ecology study and migration study of black-faced spoonbills, a project submitted by Conservation Treaty Support Fund of the United States to sponsor a CITES Implementation Workshop in the Middle East, and a project on the "New Edition of the United Nations List of Protected Areas" by the World Conservation Monitoring Center in the United Kingdom. The ROC government's donations toward international wildlife conservation efforts have continued since then.
