EPA launches competition

 

This article was published by the Taiwan Headlines on June 7, 2006. It reports that the Environmental Protection Administration in Taiwan recently launched a competition to seek new ideas for conserving resources, recycling waste and reducing environmental pollution.

The Environmental Protection Administration will give cash prizes to those who come up with the most creative ways of protecting the environment. The contributor of the best suggestion will receive NT$10,000.

Individuals and organizations that are interested in making suggestions should present their ideas in words and pictures, and submit them to the Environmental Protection Administration's web site at the following address:

The submission deadline will be July 20, 2006. Officials at the Environmental Protection Administration suggest that entrants should focus on food, clothing, dwelling and transportation. In the end, the best ideas will be published in the Environmental Protection Administration's manuals, which will be used to educate the public about environmental protection.
