Water museum opens near Feitsui Reservoir
This article was written by Cecilia Fanchiang and published by the Taiwan Journal on January 16, 2004. It features the Water Resources Education Center in Taiwan, which was recently opened near Taipei County's Feitsui Reservoir. The museum's goal is to educate the public on the importance of conserving water. It is designed to answer questions about water conservation with interesting displays. The Feitsui Reservoir supplies drinking water to four million people in the greater Taipei area. About 54 percent of its water goes to Taipei City and 46 percent to Taipei County. |
