Nanya

Nanya is the northern gateway of the Northeast Coast Scenic Area in Taipei County. The area is renowned for the wind and sea sculpted rock formations scattered along its shores. Visitors, driving or walking, can take in miles of sea and wind eroded rock formations and outcroppings dotting the vibrant and pristine coastline. There are also quaint fishing villages set against an idyllic mountain background.

Facilities around Nanya include a parking lot, walking trails, and plenty of pavilion viewpoints. The northern entrance to Nanya is located at around the 84.5-kilometer mark on the Coastal Highway. The parking lot and trails are clearly indicated by signs to help visitors get the most out of their trip.
