The Tomb of Teresa Teng

"Beautiful Flowers do not blossom all year round. Things are not always as rosy as they sound." These are the verses of the famous Mandarin pop song Will You Come Back Again that had made its singer, Teresa Teng, a singing legend in every Chinese speaking region.

The Tomb of Teresa Teng is within Jin Bao Mountain, a well-designed resting area for those who passed away, near Jinshan Township in Taipei County. Teng died of asthma while holidaying in Ching Mai, Thailand, on May 8, 1995. Her death was a huge shock to all Chinese-speaking communities in the world. She was only 43 years old.

Teng's family built a tomb for Teresa in Jin Bao Mountain, so that her fans could come to pay tribute to this popular singer. The tomb was named after Teng's maiden name as Yun Garden. There are also exhibitions of Teng's belongings, including her stage costume and casual wears, as well as all the records she had made.
