Bashen Amusement Park

Bashen Amusement Park is located in Bali Township in Taipei County. It faces the Taiwan Strait on its west, and meets with Guanyin Mountain on its southeast. The picturesque towns of Tamshui (Danshui) and Guandu lie across the Tamshui (Dansuei) River from the park. The park is only 20 kilometers from Taipei City. It has an ideal geological location, with easy access to roads and highways.

Construction of the Bashen Amusement Park began in 1986. Since 1993, the park continuously achieved several certificates of excellency that were granted by Taiwan's Board of Tourism. In 1997, the park became the first amusement park in Taiwan to pass the ISO-9002 Quality Recognition System. The park also pledged sisterhood with the Sea World Recreational Park in Ohio, USA.

Bashen Amusement Park officially changed its name to the Formosa Fun Coast in 2000. Its adventure theme park was transformed into the Four Seasons Park, with annual free admission. The park is one of the eight most beautiful scenic spots in Taiwan. At dusk, the coastline is softly illuminated with the setting sun's golden rays.

Bashen Amusement Park can accommodate 20,000 visitors daily. Various rides have been carefully designed, such as the Landscape slide, the Rapid slide, the Mat slide, the Shooting slide, the Tienchi Journey, the Floating River, the Seaview watersports area, the Teen Watersport area, and the Kiddies Watersport area. The water slides and other fun facilities allow all visitors, especially those with no swimming skills, to enjoy the fun and excitement of playing in water.
