Gold Ecological Park

The Gold Ecological Park is located in the mountainous village of Jinguashi in Rueifang Township, Taipei County. With plenty of historical, humanities and natural heritage, the park is the first ecology museum in Taiwan.

The park lays special emphasis on heritage preservation, sustainable development, old buildings reuse as well as localized operations aimed at promoting regional development. In addition to enjoying the unique geological and natural sights here, visitors of the park can gain a better understanding of the mining history and community culture of Jinguashi. Jinguashi is ready to create a fresh golden legend with the participation of local residents who together have forged the glamour of this land.

The Gold Ecological Park is located in Taipei County's Rueifang Township. Visitors can take the Eastern Line train from Taipei City, heading for Ilan and Hualien, and get off at the Rueifang Station. Then take a local bus to Jinguashi. The park opens from 9:30am to 5pm from Tuesday to Friday, and from 9:30am to 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
