Tri-Mountion National Scenic Area

 

The Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area is located near the border of Miaoli County and Changhua County, near central Taiwan. The area is perfect for tourism due to its advantages in scenery, culture and transportation.

Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area covers the Lion's Head Mountain, the Li Mountain and the Bagua Mountain, with a total area of 1,200 hectares. The area has been developed with the aim of developing local, educational, ecological and sustainable tourism.

The Li Mountain breeds a great variety of birds and butterflies. From June to September, various butterflies can be found all over the mountain. Another attraction in the Li Mountain is the handmade textile products offered by the local Atayal aboriginal tribe. The Bagua Mountain is also famous for its good variety of birds and butterflies.
