Tongsiao Marine Life Park

Tongsiao Marine Life Park is located in Tongsiao Township in northern Taiwan's Miaoli County. It is about 500 meters away frm Tongsiao Railway Station.

Tongsiao Marine Life Park is suitable for family visits. The park features a bathing beach, mangroves, an artificial lake and windbreak forests. The beach, established in 1922, is the largest bathing beach available for people from central Taiwan. The beach is closed in winter, but its six theme exhibition rooms remain open. These exhibition rooms feature coral reefs and various fishes. Meanwhile, in the mangrove conservation zone, visitors can see birds and crabs. There is even a small pasture in the park, with cows, horses and sheep. Visitors can camp in the park or stay in one of the log cabins.
