Guanwu Forest Park

Guanwu Forest Park is located on the border of Hsinchu County's Wufeng Township and Miaoli County's Taian Township in northern Taiwan. As the mists here are very dense, Guanwu Forest Park is also called the county of clouds.

Guanwu Forest Park has an altitude of 1,800 meters and is the entrance to Tapachien Mountain (Tapachienshan). Many walking tracks have been built in the area, which lead to ancient trees as old as 2,000 years, forests and waterfalls. The area also has several species of mountain birds, endangered plants and animals.

The most famous walking track in Guanwu Forest Park is the Chen Shan Track. The track is 4,130 meters long and takes three to four hours to complete. Many ancient and tall trees stand along the track. As visitors reach the top of the track, some 2,439 meters in altitude, they are rewarded with spectacular views of the Shi Pa National Park and the Tapachien Mountain
