Chingchuan Hot Springs

Chingchuan Hot Springs is located in Wufeng Township in northern Taiwan's Hsinchu County. Its old name was Inoue Hot Springs. The water here is colorless and odorless, with a temperature of 48 degrees Celcius. It is said to have certain healing powers for skin diseases and gastroenteritis. Due to geological changes, the hot spring had disappeared for several years until September 21, 1999, when a severe earthquake caused the hot spring to emerge again.

In addition to its hot springs, the area attracts many local and international visitors because of its beautiful mountainous scenery and graceful peach blossoms.
