Jinzun
Jinzun
is a small fishing village lying to the south of Dunghe.
The name of this area, literally "golden goblet", is derived from the
shape of its bay, the uniquely shaped "anchor reef". Other features include
a fishing harbor, a three-kilometer sandy beach, and sea cliffs, as well
as inshore reefs. Wooden steps behind the vendors' area lead down to the
beach, which is perfect for strolling, fishing, or simply enjoying the
scenery. Unfortunately, the steep gradient of the beach precludes swimming
here. Nonetheless, a pavilion atop the cliffs provides bird's eye views
of the entire area, including its most distinctive feature -- a narrow-necked
headland shaped like a ship's anchor.
