Chu Lu Ranch

Chu Lu Ranch was established in 1973. As there are a lot of typhoons in Taitung, the weather is unsuitable for farming. Thus, the farmers made use of the ranch on the hills to produce dairy products. With guidance and support from the government, the dairy products here have become very popular and the ranch have attracted many tourists. There are over 1,600 cows here with a yearly milk production of 43 liters. Tourists can learn about how fresh milk was produced from feeding, milking to packaging.

The most popular products here are fresh milk and ice cream. In addition, there is a tour track in the forest, perfect for a walk in hot summer. Cows graze on the ranch every afternoon. The tranquil and peaceful scenery here is worthy to visit.
